The Weber Original Kettle Charcoal Grill
The Weber Original Kettle Charcoal Grill measures 22 inches in diameter and has 363 sq inches of cooking area. It stands at around 35 inches high overall and is super light at just under 32 pounds. The 2 large wheels make moving and storing this charcoal barbeque a breeze.
The lid and bowl are made of steel and coated in porcelain enamel to give the grill long lasting and easy cleaning properties. The traditional Weber design ensures that the heat inside the Kettle is transferred evenly and economically giving you great results time and time again.
The addition of a top-mounted vent in the lid makes temperature adjustment easy and effortless.
The cooking and charcoal grates are made from heavy duty plated steel that won’t warp or deteriorate over time with the heat. The cooking grate is hinged on 2 sides to allow for easy access to the fuel and is fully removable for easy cleaning.
The bottom of the bowl contains Weber’s “One touch cleaning system” for easy ash removal into the aluminium ash catching tray and also doubles as a second vent for moving oxygen up into the grill. When you are finished cooking, simply closing off both vents will extinguish the charcoal that remains in the grill.

I have used Weber grills for 40 years. They are the best.
It is fairly easy to assemble, and in my humble engineering opinion, seems well-made and designed with few exceptions.
I’ve owned a number of under $100 grills, and there’s no comparison to the quality of my new Silver 22.5″ One Touch.
